Olathe Settler's Celebration starts within one week. Are you ready?

The schools have started, high school football is back and In less than a week, the smell of carnival food will be filtering through Johnson County. And that can only mean one thing. The Old Settlers celebration in downtown Olathe is back.

The Old Settler's celebration will feature carnival rides, craft booths, and entertainment. The celebration starts Thursday, September 8th, and goes through Saturday, September 10th.

This year the entertainment is headlined by two free concerts. Simply Queen, a Queen tribute ban, on Friday, September 9th, and Lonestar, a county band, Saturday, September 10th. Both concerts start at 7:30 PM.

So grab yourself a chair head to the parade Saturday morning around 7:30 AM and then stay awhile to view the booths and jump on a ride at the carnival. While strolling through the food area, make sure to grab yourself a garage puff.
