Black Bob Bay in Olathe

According to the City of Olathe website, OlatheKS.org, Black Bob Bay is closed for the rest of the season. 

According to a post on Facebook, the city had to close Black Bob Bay due to a staffing shortage that would have prevented a possible safe end to the summer swimming season at Black Bob Bay.

"We’ve had so much fun serving you at our pools all summer and wish we could see you at Black Bob Bay one last weekend, but we want everyone to be safe," the post reads. "We truly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

The Olathe Community Center Pool and the Lake Olathe Beach and Marina will stay open according to plan.
