It is not all doom and gloom for the Kansas City real estate market. Despite the national headlines, the Kansas City real estate market is chugging along.


According to the Heartland MLS, 862 homes hit the real estate in the past 7 days. During this same time period, 852 homes have gone under contract and 819 homes have sold. The average sales price has been $334,800. 


In the past 7 days, 201 homes in Kansas City have been canceled, expired, or withdrawn from the Heartland MLS. 


The current absorption rate, the measure of supply and demand, is 7 days. That really is not much supply. This indicates that Kansas City is experiencing a Strong Seller’s Market.


Currently, It is a Great time to Sell in Kansas City, but the tide looks to be turning. Stay tuned for future updates.
